Baptist Union of Uganda is an umbrella body of over 1800 churches all across the country. We have been in existence for over 35 years now. The Union is governed by an Executive Committee which is chaired by the Union President Rev John Ekudu. The general Secretary is the CEO of the organization who runs and does the daily administrative work of the organization. The Union has nine (9) regions with ninety five (95) Associations where the local churches meet to promote fellowship, Cooperate Mission, Evangelism and Church Planting, Discipleship and leadership Development. The Union has also responded to humanitarian needs of the people all across the country, assisted in church building and development projects. We have with diligence promoted solid doctrinal reflections among member churches in this up rise of the neo- Pentecostal era.
